You sound absolutely fascinated by this glorious insight into British school sports.
If only you could switch us off like the hockey on TV. :)

They also have Deck-Hockey. My brother played it, basically on hard flooring, in shoes, no skates. Looked to be even harder on ankles and legs than ice.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

we mostly played innebandy (floorball) - of the hockey sports anyway. Handboll and volleyboll and fotboll was popular too. And no I can't be bothered looking up accurate translations :P (It was always the sporty kids who decided what we should do, anyway. I hated gym class.)

Yeah. I'm thinking of unsubscribing but then one would cut off all ties with the old IFX :(
And Quora Digest. Why the hell do I even get that? And why do they ask so many stupid questions? I DON'T CARE if they think Rowling should have written a sentence or two differently in the Harry Potter books.

*Jolly hockey sticks* - more of a weapon in a school I frequented briefly :D

I cut ties with IFX long long ago, the content just repeated and as the IFX community weren't involved in anyway, I lost interest.

well that's all true (about IFX, I can't vouch for the hockey sticks) but I still feel kind of sentimental about them. I liked it back when there was interaction with their readers and more people on the forum...

yeah it was brilliant when we were the IFX community and often some of 'our group' appeared in the shiny mag, I loved it. I still have a lot of affection for the whole thing and like you say, sentimental towards it, but its just a magazine now, if I like the look of a certain month i'll pick it up, but loyalty has pretty much gone now.

I still have like a year's worth of magazines I haven't read, since I cancelled my subcription :P

EDIT: And while going through my email and actually deciding to unsubscribe from some junk it turns out that I'm getting it because someone who had my email address like over a decade ago still uses it when signing up for stuff in shops and stuff. I know this because I am not Charlotte Moritz and I'm pretty sure Mrs Moritz previous surname was Ahlgren... (*googles* Well, look at that, she's vice principal at Malmö University... and she's using both surnames...)
