Line work looks good for only 25 min, it would take me that long just to do the beard, he has an uncomfortably short um skirt tho..

As for the shirt/skirt that was fashionable once you know. All the rage with uhm... hose? I'd actually watched the Swedish version of "The Supersizers..." (called History Eaters in Swedish which seems more accurate to me) just before drawing that guy, and they were in the 16th century. His garb is historically inspired, if not at all accurate

Let me tweak my contrast.....
.....ah yes, there's a pillar there. And very well drawn too.
Very nice figure drawing though. And I'll be interested to see how this develops because I always find it hard to do those defiant "head tilted back" poses. The chin/neck transition is hell to draw, so I'll keep an eye on this and learn.
