When I posted the above list I noticed the Axolotl theme (May 4th) so obviously I had to make one of those. Not my best work, but certainly one of my fastest, at least lately

It is a mystery to me why I can't use my own hands as references without the drawing getting chubby fingers...

I struggle to use any hand as a reference.

And I like your axolotl pic a lotl.
The way you suggested the subtle texture in the body is very clever and efficient.
