I've now set up my cooling pad and played some ARK. The computer still gets really warm...

The weather is too warm for warm computers.

That's why I've mostly been playing on GFN recently. Let NVidia's servers get hot instead.

Well... It's a bit chilly (in) here anyway...  

I found a specific structural part that fits on one of those top slots of my ship and allows me to add two shielded cargo holds either side.
But the front of that part doesn't look great. Maybe it will let me put that nose cowling piece there even though it isn't strictly the "nose".

Oh, that looks soooo cool now.

But now it's too heavy and I'm getting a low mobility warning. Need an extra engine.
OK, there's just one more top slot right at the back. I just need to plant another of those engines up there.

And there are no top fitting engines for sale at this place!

Just a few seconds into the game my very first attempt at jumping resulted in getting stuck inside a wall.
 

Had to quit and start again.
But you can run around and creep and sit and meow and knock things off tables. Oh, and...

That was supposed to be an easy region Where did those two raptors come from!?
(And why does my butt look so big when I set screen resolution to what my monitor says is the recommended resolution? Actually not just the butt, the whole body looks broader... )

and the mouse and camera stutters... Shouldn't a new computer be able to handle this old game?

Edit: and then the computer shuts down from over heating Again. In spite of cooling pad with 5 fans on...

5 fans??

My one noisy fan did start taking off today during ESO, which made me wish I'd played on GeforceNow again but my Wi-Fi was playing up a bit in a laggy way, so I had to put up with it.
I say "one fan" but I think there's probably another one inside on the CPU now that I think about it.
But my GPU is a passive one with no fan at all. Toasty!

And in the kitty world...  Humans can pick you up and throw you out!
