I avoided a mine in Starfield.
I just happened to be running away from something (rather than my usual walking or sneaking) so I just kept on going and managed to get out of range of the explosion.
Sarah then ran straight through the fireball.
Burning Sarah then ran to my side and set me on fire.

At least she wasn't talking about what people say after they sneeze.

So I dragged my charred body back to the ship and was greeted by Barrett who was eager to give me something. Credits? Weapons? Armour? Maybe something for my burns?
A cheese and ham sandwich.
I've had better gifts but it'll do I suppose.

Oh, and I've found another Galacticat.
I will not be putting it on my pillow again.

I'm not sure running out of the explosion range quite counts as "avoiding a mine". Isn't it better if they don't go off at all?

One of the funniest moments I had in the game was caused by an explosion. I was with Barrett, and I was stood on a staircase while he had charged up to fight some enemies, I walked up far enough to fire over the top of the stairs and then ducked back down. Next moment there is a huge explosion and I hear Barrett shouting "Ooo oo ow ow ow ooo ow ow!" and suddenly he appeared leaping down the stairs toward me completely engulfed in flames. He sounded just like Yosemite Sam.

I have acquired a power.



Oh, and there's more free DLC in ESO today. Off to the Clockwork City we go.

Starfield update?! 

Can you even get in?
There's currently an XBox Live outage and I can't even login.

It's downloading the update right now, 72% and counting 

I think the update is mostly for breaking mods.

And I still can't log in for this or A Plague Tale.

It's updated, but I can't play because of the outage you mentioned
