I did a something! Which is to say, I finally downloaded and installed that wacom driver... and then I started on some Palian fanart... (which is why I'm posting in the Games thread)

 

I originally tried to sketch this character on paper and he ended up looking younger than his years, so I decided to take it further and try to picture him as a kid... He's an adult in the game. 

Very nice linework.
And congratulations on picking up the pen again.

I'm waiting to see more, it might be a one off freak occurrence caused by natural phenomena. I can't form a hypothesis until I see repeatable results.

Edit: anyway, still working on this. Mostly linework colours left to look at I think, although I'm not sure about the lighting yet, either... 

 

And I hate how the new snipping tool automatically saves a png every time, regardless of the location and file format I want. I'm getting a lot of duplicates that way. Will need to look at the settings and see if I can change that...

Erm... guess I won't be adopting you then.

Comes with Windows, I sometimes use it to make quick wip images (no need to crop, rescale etc, if I can just take a "screenshot" at the size I want, which is usually 50 or 75% of the original)

Edit: Though to be honest my wips keep seeming larger than they should so it's possible that's another change to the tool: that it actually grabs a screenie of the actual size even if you have the image at 50%? Guess I'll have to experiment with that... 

Ah, yes, the WIndows thing. I just save/export my wips and resize it afterwards.
And if your screengrabs are bigger now I guess it'll just be that your laptop screen has a better resolution than the older one?

Anyway, after a game-switcheroo, I've just been delivering 16 necklaces up a mountain. Why can't I put them all in one box instead of having 16 chunky boxes on my back while trying to get up a near-vertical cliff face?
But this time I did ascend the mountain from the north east side after seeing what looked like a traversable route on the map. Turned out to be slightly steeper than the map implied.
And there were boulders. Boulders that seemed to have a tracking system that homed in on me.
Quick, dive behind this Ludens hologram.
Not that a hologram will protect me.

Next is a very tight time-sensitive delivery. But... I think I might be able to do the Premium Job if I put another two ziplines in the right place.
Will need some planning but...

The screen grabs should still be the same size as when I take it...

Edit: Seems it's when I post them here they get bigger, it's not the actual saved images...
