Thankfully it doesn't work that way. When you use shared vehicles they move in your game but not theirs. Other people have used my bikes and trucks and they're still always where I leave them in my world.

You should be safe as long as there are no pencils within reachBaba Yaga is in Tomb Raider. I've been delaying that quest for a while.
