Hugo ran off into Hellblade now?

It really wouldn't surprise me. Perhaps he disappears to explore lots of other games. Maybe there's a Skyrim mod that lets you adopt him.
I did have a panicky battle with the rats though. You need to be quick with that slingshot in later chapters.

I think I might as well give up, then. I'm never going to be fast with that sling shot - I'll only release the mouse keys in the wrong order and have to start over. Again. And again...

At lot of games I've played use that "hold one button click the other" aiming system so it wasn't a big deal for me.
But I guess you don't get a lot of it in building games.

Hey, I remember you playing Remnant From The Ashes and that uses the two-clicky shooty thing, if I'm remembering correctly.
I think you were much better than me as well.

I can't even remember hearing about Remnant of the Ashes ever before...
I do remember the occasional game doing the two-clicky thing, though. But I never was good at it.

I'm now beginning to think that I won't be doing a quick replay of Hellblade.Completing the puzzles is obviously much simpler but I'm no better at the fights and without the focus powers that arrive later in the game it's still taking me just as long to progress so I probably will leave it alone and come back to it later when it feels like a fresher experience again. Plus I do agree with Banj about it not feeling quite right trying to rush your way through a game like this.

The fool passed the first round and then started playing weather cards in the second. I decided to risk it and play everything in that second round, all or nothing, laying down all but one of my cards on those bad weather rows plus two Commander's Horn to "boost" them. He was still one point up and then I set down my final card...

And for once I won a decent card that I can actually play!
