I can't solve my own cat problems let alone deal with somebody else's as well.

Cat's gone, I might be strong enough to continue my quest and the game crashes again. (Not the black screen - a few times there's been an "unreal engine" problem.... maybe I should look at those settings now)

If I have to research something then I usually do it the next day when I'm not playing. But if I reeeeeeally need some "live" advice then I look it up on my tablet. Got to save ALL my CPU power for those 10 year old graphics.

I quit Vampyr yesterday because (or when - as it was getting late) I got dead by monster. I had looked up something and seen a walk-through that mentioned this semi-boss fight thingy was really difficult. So I figured I'd better look it up again, to get it right. The walk through I found today says it's all easy peasy...

and doesn't mention the monster. Unless the monster is the guy called Jimmy and he substituted his flamethrower for some furs...

Ooops. Turns out the monster was in one building (level 22, I'm level 15) and Jimmy is on one that has been locked until now. Unfortunately Jimmy wasn't easy peasy, and I died pretty quickly. "Just stay away from his flame thrower" they said. *Character runs straight into flame, gets stuck next to a rail or a pillar or whatever and just stands there being burnt to a crisp*. It would be so much easier if my attacks were focussed on not just random flailing in all directions...

Hmm, you seem to be accurately describing the tactics of all my attacks in every game I play.
