well, at least you didn't just reload a before the trap save and ignore it all.... Useful horse, that.

And then later I really, really thought about it.

But I didn't like being lied to and I wanted to make the lying liar pay!
And for once it wasn't just my ineptitude that was the problem, they were some strangely high level baddies and even my companions were being obliterated with just two blows.
Even more strangely the wiki says you can do that quest at level six. SIX?!

Speaking of tactical save points, I've just made one in Witcher 1. I got to the point where you have to make a decision between Triss or Shani. I do prefer Shani as a character but I think Triss might be better for story reasons so I've dumped the child on the sorceress.
I shall reload if it goes wrong.

I think I chose Shani, but I'm not sure. I never quite trusted Triss...

No I don't like Triss either. Especially the way she starts every conversation with, "Geralt..." *loooong pause*
I'm also about to meet her at a house in Novigrad in Witcher 3 so let's see if her sequel is any better.

Well, Novigrad is "interesting" in Witcher 3. Strumpets everywhere want to purr at me while doing those odd gyrating dances and almost everyone I bump into wants me to do a quest that waay above my current level.
What's that, dumpling man? Meet you after dark? Tonight? Hmm, how about in three weeks time when I've levelled up sixteen more times.

At least I don't have to level up to find Triss but she's apparently done a runner. Maybe one of these guys can lead me to her. Follow him, Sneaky Geralt!



And after eventually finding the right door to go through (eventually!) I've found her...



...and unlike *looong pause* Witcher 1 she actually talks like a normal person.
