Seeing as the gaming thread turned into a cute cat thread for a moment back there I thought I'd add some cats to Skyrim with an appropriate mod. Of course there are actual "cat-people" in the game but none of the small, four-legged variety.
But now, with the mod installed, there are several of them running around Whiterun. AND there's one in my house flitting about upstairs!



I'm not sure if the dog will be too pleased with that.
It makes a very loud purring noise too. (The cat, not the dog. )


EDIT: Hey do you remember that Beatles album cover with the four of them crossing the road? Well, I went to take the cat out for a walk and I didn't realise that Lydia was following as well and, as I moved the camera to look back, Abbey Road came to mind...



...but Paul McCartney's a cat obviously.

In 30 years or so someone will edit that screenshot in Photoshop to replace the cat, just to be sure they don't offend anyone that doesn't like cats.

People who don't like cats deserve all the offense I have to offer.

There seems to be a "Halloween Sale" on Steam until the end of the month which offers some savings on horror games along with the stuff that always seems to get discounted every other week.

Nothing much catching my eye, maybe Divinity II?

And Murdered:Soul Suspect keeps cropping up on my recommendations but I'm not sure about that one.

Thanks, Kaz. I shall dodge that one. It sounds like a good premise but those kinds of stories are tough to pull off in a way that keeps the momentum going.

I'm amazed you were able to find anything on Steam yesterday because it was completely broken when I went on there at about 6pm.
