Who needs affordable housing? Pfft.
Speaking of "homes", some of those orc bodies have finally disappeared from my Keep in Skyrim. Yes, that's right, only "some". The generic baddies have gone but their leader (the only one that had a proper name, Ghunzul he was called) is still there when you go through the door.
I think I might try and sit his body up in a chair and pretend he's a friend that's just staying there. It'd be like that old 80s film, Weekend At Bernie's. "Let's just pretend he didn't die!"

I finally got to that camp after much walking and bashing of cliff racers but no-one there wanted to talk to me and the guy I was supposed to meet attacked me.
Then I remembered that Ashlanders do like their traditions of receiving gifts (that story was set up in an earlier quest) so... many bribes later... Now they all talk!
I now have to go through some initiation thing where I retrieve a thing from another thing. But I died. I had just saved thankfully so I'll restart from there another day.
Now I'll go off to do some fishing instead. No, wait-
YOU'RE the one fishing. I'm going to be.... erm, don't know yet. Let's see which game I'm gonna click. Probably Skyrim.

Just grabbed Alan Wake before I forgot about it.

Won't install yet though, I'll wait until I've finished some other things.
Speaking of which, I'm now at the final boss battle of Half Life 2 Ep 1. I knew I'd have to fight one of "them" in the end. (No spoilers. )
And I don't have much ammo either. I feel there'll be a lot of running away going on until I find some supplies.

I already installed it. THEN I forgot about it!

You must have plenty of hard disk space if you can install games AND forget about them.
I do have over 100GB free but I just know that if I don't show some kind of discipline now then one game will lead to another game and then I'll quickly end up with not enough space to save my paintings.

Now you made me look... I have a little over 60 Gb free

That makes me feel much better about my installing habits.

My first two computers didn't even have hard drives.
Just 48k memory then 512k (which I upgraded to one whole megabyte!)

And now we wait for Banj to beat us both with memories of his ZX81.

I had a ZX81 with a RAM pack which I think took it up to something like 16k. Of course if we are talking storage, then the ZX81 had the exact same capacity as the 16/48k Spectrums because they were all using audio cassettes...
