I seem to be struggling a bit with Bioshock now. The Big Daddies are just soooooo hard to kill.
So far I've only managed to defeat two of them and both times they completely cleaned me out of ammo and required several respawns from the numerous times I died. There must be a better way of doing this.
I feel an Easy Mode switcheroo coming on.

No, no, no, no. It's "sort-of" cheating.
I've watched YouTube videos of people killing the Big Daddies and I have no idea how they're doing it. Is there some sort of weak point you have to aim for? They just seem to absorb whatever I fire at them, whatever ammo I use, all with minimal damage. Then after just a couple of shots and a grenade I'm dead, back in the Vita Chamber then off to the nearest Circus Of Value to buy yet more ammo before dying again.
Maybe I should just ignore them seeing as you don't HAVE TO kill them but then you can't harvest the Little Sisters for the plasmid upgrades.

One of those Dark Brotherhood Assassins just tried to kill me in Skyrim!
I was just admiring the scenery from the top of a large rock and I saw this odd fellow running through the valley towards me. What's this guy doing? He was proper sprinting too not ambling through the countryside like most NPCs. He's gonna try to attack me, isn't he? Sure enough, he did. He failed though, obviously underestimated my two-handed sword skills.
I searched his body and he did indeed have a contract on me. Don't know why, I can't think of anyone I've offended and I haven't taken any sides yet. In fact I STILL haven't done any more of those main quests. I guess I must be one of those people that someone just wants to kill.
I had a really good walk around last night (I'm trying not to use the fast travel which seems a bit too simple and arbitrary after Morrowind's more structured transport system) and walking lets you experience all those interesting little random encounters. There was some mad woman shouting about "The master" and "Dirvenin" (or something like that,) I keep seeing lots of prisoner escorts, then there are hunters who sometimes get attacked by weird magical things, then there was a mercenary on her way to a job. I tried to join in but she wouldn't be persuaded so I just followed her from a sneaky distance to see where she was going. And I never found out thanks to that Assassin!

the assassin was a random event (likely tied to the horse you stole) in game any stuff out of town is random.

It's too warm to even play video games.
So I've been adding some mods to Skyrim.
None of the fancy graphics ones, my framerate is far too precious for that, so I've just added some extra little gameplay things. I quite like the idea of the Missives noticeboard that adds a load of little sidequests (to keep me away from that main story) and I grabbed Convenient Horses too and that little journal for notes seeing as the in-game journal is a little simplistic. Also got the revamped UI. I wanted to overhaul the fast travel system (that Wayshrines mod sounds good) but a lot of them require all the DLC. *grumble*
