There's a game developer called Creaky Corpse Ltd...

I'm not sure I have a preference for Zombies, they just happen to turn up a lot in post apocalyptic survival games  You could always build a Dinosaur theme park, what could possibly go wrong?

OK, so you have a preference for the post-apocalypse.
And a crypt, huh. Sounds lovely.

Well I have now installed Maid of Sker which I think had mixed reviews but I can give it a go, I suppose. I feel like I could have liked that demonologist game if it had been "ohhh exciting" + "learn something" and "oops something happened" + "injury" or something, instead of "oooh exciting" x3 and then "dead".

Hmm. Now I have tried Maid of Sker and I'm not dead yet. But I probably will be, next time I play. You are supposed to be able to equip weapons but the closest thing to a weapon I have found so far is a doll. I guess I can throw it at my enemies. Well, one of them. I'm not sure how I like it that there's suitcases, journals, books and weird statuettes all over the place but I can't interact with any of them. So far I can pretty much only open doors. Except for the locked ones.

Oh well, it's enough for tonight I think.

Where the hell is my speeder bike?
I parked it around here the other day before I died so it must still be here somewhere.

But I don't have a microphone.

Anyway after speeding off for a bit in search of some guy I ended up being chased and shot at.
 

After a lot of random button presses I worked out that you can't shoot while riding (although that guy apparently can!) so I had to dismount to kill him and his friend.
The demo clearly doesn't have the bit that informs you of this. Nor did it tell me that I can apparently climb certain rocks and swing around on some kind of grapple/rope. But I worked all that out eventually and then rewarded myself by petting another random creature...

 

...but not those creatures that keep killing me.

I've been impatiently scooting about my entire "planet" (read "map") looking for the first mammals, and specifically the one species I didn't already have anyway. No luck, no luck, no luck. Then I was cleaning up outside my base after yet another meteor strike and what do I see? Sharkies! We are neighbours!

I have now found all but one of the species on humble. I do have the species I haven't found, as I found the "species trait" for it somewhere, but I hope they are somewhere in the game world too. I've tried googling but it doesn't seem like there's as much info on Humble as there is on Prime.

I do still need to get the species trait for species 5, though. I only got a bunch of other traits while petting them.

But maybe it's time for dinner? *looks at time*

I guess. It was mostly some guy talking and asking people to tell them what they (the players) wanted to see in the new game. But they showed clips too and I think I saw a pink creature. Maybe it was a coral.
