You don't have to. Just like you don't have to punch yourself repeatedly in the face for 2 hours. Though the latter is likely to be a better experience.

well, I'm curious. But there are other movies to switch over to, if I can't stand it...

If I was feeling brave I would venture my opinion on SS. For example, IF I wasn’t scared of a ban I would say that,even though the story is awful and as Banj mentioned, the concept of the whole movie is deeply flawed I may suggest it was worth a watch, once, due to some awesome action sequences. If I was the type of person who didn’t mind being flung out of this lovely, well maintained community by the scruff of the neck I might venture that some of the effects are great.
IF I was feeling brave. Which I’m not. So I won’t.

Watch and "enjoy."

well I rather like the look of the enchantress, what little there is of her so far. And I find I like Quinn better than I expected, too. Even if the whole idea of putting together a group like this to fight a problem you created by putting together the group in the first place... uhm, yeah.

I saw John Wick last night. I really don't get what all the hype is about.

I saw Hereditary on Saturday. I really don't get what all the hype is about*.




(* to be fair, it is a very well made film for the most part. The first act was very good, then it falls apart)

I haven't heard of Hereditary so whatever hype there was didn't work on me.

But even if you don't like John Wick, or Keanu Reeves, or lots of relentless shooting, you can at least sit back and wallow in those wonderful "foreign" accents. I'm not sure what country they're from but it's definitely "foreign."
