And then there was the book about a girl who lived under a tree? Uh... anyway she knew a turtle who's shell she fixed using a piece of metal from a can. And all her animal friends were really humans under a spell? Or I'm remembering it all wrong

And my dreams are nowhere near as odd as the movie I'm watching. "Inherent Vice" - lots of names I recognize, like Joaquin Phoenix, Benicio del Toro, that guy with the arm in the latest Deadpool movie (Brolin?), Reese Witherspoon... I think it's the 70ies or late 60ies, Phoenix is some sort of junkie PI called Doc, and I think he's got like a med clinic as a front? Why does a PI need a front? Anyway he's constantly high, and I'm not sure whether anything in the movie is actually happening or if it's all one long dream of his... Oh and the narrator is a woman with a childish voice and an interest in astrology...
