Gotta love it when TV uses an illness for plot twists without understanding said illness.
(Like crook taking insulin because his blood sugar plummeted... and then again later just taking it as soon as he got his hands on it, instead of after a meal, as if it was an addictive drug...)

No, just an apple. A while after taking the insulin (when he'd probably already be dead or comatose, had it been real...)

I remember Jack Bauer being a heroin addict for an hour or two... And then continuing to save the world during the rest of the day.
I think he also had a heart attack and died before being revived to save the world again while having yet another heart attack.

Yeah, yeah but he didn't have diabetes, or asthma. Obviously you can save the world while having a heroin attack. Or whatsit. :dumb:

He had asthma as well? Everyone knows that all you have to do is quickly suck on an inhaler and it instantly fixes the problem. Or if it's really bad and you're in danger of dying, take two or three quick sucks.
