The Trailer Park

Can't say it's a good enough story that it deserves a remake but I guess they do remakes of everything these days. I also think the first version was a hit largely because of the actors and .... the actors in this one seem completely unknown to me. Then again I guess the ones in the first one was more or less unknown to me at the time too... At least little Kirsten. And I think it was what made Brad Pitt? Or maybe he was famous already.... I can't recall.

He was already fairly well known, but I guess you could argue that it was his first big main stream starring role.

So I was a little bit wrong and a little bit right

It's not that long since I saw the first version of that.
I thought I'd seen it before until I actually saw it.
And I thought I hated it until I saw it and didn't hate it.

Not sure why it needs to be made again. Unless no one has any other ideas any more.

I know that Banj loves all these Star Wars shows about logic gates.

I finished Stranger Things yesterday and really enjoyed it. Having just rewatched them all I think this one has been the best of the four seasons even if some of the final episodes felt a little long with Hopper's storyline seeming to drag on a bit too much in an unnecessary way.

And I've finished just in time to start The Sandman which I think is available from today. But I think I may save that for next week.

Edit: Just finished the first episode... And I didn't love it. Didn't hate it either. But I felt some parts were a bit "too explanatory" and well... Maybe it's just first episode awkwardness. Maybe. 
 

Now I've seen two episodes of Sandman. It might be growing on me. A little. I still feel that the narration is a bit on the nose (I think that's the right expression, anyway... ) and some things that seem to be meant to be scary are just silly, so far. But I'll keep watching.

Hmm. I'm not the biggest fan of voice-over narration in TV/Movies so I hope it's gonna be one of the better ones.
But I'll probably start it on Monday as I like to sleep through films over the weekend.

It's not a constant narrative... But I'm not sure if that's better or worse...
