Watching some Flash for breakfast and it's the alien invasion episode and ... the legends of tomorrow are in it! Including Snart and Rory whom I should have recognised the first time I saw this. But I can't recall doing so. So now I know what they meant with "Snart had gone....somewhere" in an earlier episode... Kind of fun rediscovering these things (or discovering for the first time)

But now.... dad visit time! *whooshes away like the Flash....ess...*

"engaging them [the alien dominators, in battle]"
is translated to
"getting help from them"


EDIT2: and now I'm reminded that this is one of those crossover things that require you to have access to four different series and this episode was actually the second. (The first is in Supergirl, which isn't on Netflix, but I'm guessing that explains how the Flash and Supergirl know each other as she's not appeared in any previous episodes of the Flash...)

The third is in the Arrow so I'm gonna watch that now and the fourth is in Legends of tomorrow, so, I have seen it, though my memories of it are rather vague. Might have to re-watch.

aaaand edit3 (since I'm just talking to myself anyway):
I'm now thinking I HAVE seen the Arrow episode before. Which make the initial supergirl episode the only one I haven't seen and cannot see now either... Oh well. I still remember very little...

You make it sound very complicated.

Crossover episodes only really work when they're first aired on TV and only if all the different channels decide to work together.
The last one of those that I saw on TV was missing an episode cos no one in this country had the rights to show Batwoman. I stopped watching them not long after that.
Eventually a seperate channel bought the Batwoman show and then left out that particular episode because it made no sense on its own, but then showed it after the season finale despite the fact that it STILL made no sense on its own.

Well, I remembered the aliens were beaten back and they were, again. So I'll go back to watching regular Flash episodes...

I am now watching Raised By Wolves.

So far it looks great but with sparse and occasionally clunky dialogue.

Mostly whining and howling, is it?

There was certainly some shrieking as it escalated alarmingly at the end.

Onto episode two...

In today's episode of the Flash:

A metahuman who turns everything to dust with his mere touch. Everything. Even bullets turn to dust as soon as they touch his sk.... clothes? How can he have clothes? (and come to think of it, wouldn't the ash particles from the bullets retain their motion energy and continue on their merry way rather than fall to the ground?)
