Terminator: Dark Fate was a strange one. All the numerous Terminator films get increasingly confusing with their convoluted "futures" that keep changing in order to make the plot work, but this one felt like a complete reboot.
Mainly because... (I'll put this in a spoiler tag but it's only the first scene. Even so, feel free to NOT click on it if you don't want to know. )



And I fell asleep during the exciting final battle.

I already knew what you wrote without clicking on the spoiler. It's the James Cameron is a hypocrite moment.

Old Sarah Connor says, "I'll be back."
And later on Old Arnie says, "I won't be back."

The Terminator: "The future is not set"

Terminator 2: Judgement Day: "There is no fate but what we make"

Every other Terminator film: "Nah, it's all inevitable and will happen no matter what you do. Also, remember this stuff from the first two films? Cool huh? Here's some more of it for you"

it's... it's... a deer! And deer gonna change the world!

That's one of the least explanatory trailers I've ever seen.


Anyway I think I'm gonna start on the new episodes of The Expanse tonight.
