The Trailer Park

In terms of basic surface storyline it is about Mother (played by Jennifer Lawrence) who is the young wife of a middle aged poet Him (played by Javier Bardem). He is struggling to find inspiration to create and hasn't written anything for a while. They live in a large house standing in the middle of nowhere which Mother is trying to restore and turn into a paradise for Him. Then a man turns up on the doorstep and things start to unravel and become increasingly surreal. On the surface that sounds like a drama about a relationship breakdown.

But then the whole thing is basically a retelling of the bible from beginning to end. So it's a religious allegory (or maybe parody). But then it's also a psycho drama/horror story about a woman losing her mind as she loses control of the order that she has built around her.

So, stuff happens.

The 100 is one of those shows that I watch but I don't know why any more. I've seen every episode but I don't really know what's going on and I can only name one of the characters.... Clarke! Oh, and there's an angry girl called Oct-something. (Not October or Octagon. And I've just googled it so there's no need to tell me.)
I should give up on it now, but a habit is a habit.
At least I've abandoned Krypton.

hmmm there are an awful lot of episodes of the 100, season 2...

EDIT: and one has to admire all those people who have their leg arteries torn one day and walk perfectly well the next...

Nothing beats Jack Bauer being tortured into having a heart attack, actually dying, being resuscitated and still spending the rest of the day saving the world. Or that time he was a heroin addict for three hours before still saving the world. Or that time he-

Enough of that, we could be here all day... just like he was.

Back to The 100... I do recall preferring season 3. No spoilers obviously, that would require me to remember details.
