I actually enjoyed the Jack Reacher films, and yep, 'No way back' is correct. I actually thought they had mentioned making more at one point, but think the word now is that they won't be, or at least TC won't be in them? ... But you never know, they seem to reprise way too many roles these days, regardless of the actors age, etc. But his role in his Mission Impossible series might play into it as well?

I've seen it and enjoyed it for the most part. It's a fairly generic by the numbers action thriller. (The girl doesn't like him to begin with from what I recall)

Correct, and it wasn't like she didn't have some issues of her own. Either could have bailed on the other really.

I think fans of the books were upset with the original casting because Jack Reacher is supposed to be really tall and intimidating and Tom Cruise is just a little fella. That's probably why they're rebooting the character. I thought both films were perfectly "OK" but completely forgettable. So maybe the previous comments were spoilers after all.

With all the hype over the latest Marvel thing I thought I'd rewatch the second half of Infinity War last night and try to stay awake this time. And I successfully did not sleep! It seems like I slept through nearly one third of the movie last time, a bit more than I suspected.
Sadly, all those new scenes didn't really change my opinion of it. I do try really hard to like these Avenger things, it feels like I'm missing out on something, but they just don't do anything for me at all.

aw, but they're so sparkly and stuff. Although, I was supposed to see the last one yesterday (last chance here in this city) but I just couldn't bring myself to leave home...

This may be the only time I've seen Jim Carrey and then laughed. But I'm not laughing with him, I'm laughing AT him.
I'm delighted that he's in this garbage. They deserve each other.
