At least "the saga comes to an end." That's one bit of the trailer that you can enjoy.

Just watched the latest ghost buster movie, where the busters are women. I found it amusing, but also very silly (in an overdone sort of way). I did appreciate the little "cameos" of the old movie characters, though Or actors, rather.

Too silly for me.

Then again, the original had its silly moments too. If I had my memory erased and watched it for the first time I probably wouldn't like that now either. But nostalgia doesn't work like that.

The Ghostbusters remake was terrible.

Speaking of something strange, I saw Dr Strange last night and was underwhelmed and disappointed.

Having a headache I spent most of the afternoon and evening in front of the TV. I saw Paddington, Despicable Me 2 (for the second time) and Death in Paradise. Plus a documentary on the meteor that killed the dinosaurs.

Paddington was.... erm... well, it wasn't too bad, I guess. An OK kid's movie for an afternoon of headaches...

Yeah, Doctor Strange was... a strange one.

Mads Mikkelsen was completely wasted in that movie, everyone's favourite Benedict seemed a little miscast and that vague, occasional accent of his was rather irritating (and it doesn't get better in later films.) I did like those space-bending kaleidoscopic effects though.

Last night I watched Antman And The Wasp and it was just short enough to stop me going to sleep. Just.
I feel sorry for Antman. Not only is he not the best Marvel character, he's not even the best character in his own films. I'd much prefer a movie just about The Wasp.

*grumbles*
so I sit up and watch this silly highschool romantic drama type of angel and devils thing called Fallen, only to find that it doesn't "finish". Googling, I find that not only is it the first in a series, but nobody's been bothered making the sequel(s). Why didn't I just go to bed?
