The Fungi

Brief: Interpret the title as you wish into some kind of creative visual brilliance.

Deadline: Midnight on Sunday 30th of November. There will now be no voting and no eventual winner, this is just a creative exercise with a time limit.

Rules in brief:
- All challenge entries must be your own work.
- You should post at least two WIP images that are clearly different from your final entry and each other.
- Your final entry should contain your image (inserted so it shows up full size) and at least two links to your WIP posts on the forum.
- No chatter in the finals thread – if you have questions, post them in the WIP thread or PM an admin.
- Feedback is allowed & encouraged together with the voting and in the WIP thread.
- Deadline is given in UK time (midnight UTC) with a grace period of 5 minutes for getting the post sorted.
- Each member may cast one vote.
- No cheating! Admins may decide to disqualify an entry that does not adhere to the above rules.

He came out well. I think the saturation of the colours look good, and that moss is satisfactorily mossy. Not to mention the shrooms looking... shroomy

I did have an idea for this challenge but I had other stuff to deal with, and erm, I was playing Alan Wake as well when I could have been painting

I think the mushrooms look nice and colourful against the blue background and you managed his hands and feet really well (in spite of your whining about such things). The only thing, is maybe the transition from midground to the blue background is a bit too abrupt? It makes the background look a bit like a flat wall and loses some depth. Other than that, 2

The background isn't quite what I wanted and I just ended up using those mossy sticker sets which felt a bit of a cheat but it got me through those technical difficulties.
