I really wanted to do this in Blender but I couldn't get the geo nodes working for all the growths on the back so I started sketching a bit...

...and as I blocked it in it started to feel very familiar, as if I've painted this before. Been trying to think back and I vaguely recall a statue/stone guy that may have had a similar crouching pose. And that Discworld Cohen guy was kind of hunched with his long beard. But it feels even more familiar than those. :hmm:
I don't know.
I guess I just have no new ideas. Then again, I'm not sure I ever did. :S

And do I really want to paint more feet and hands? Do I? :nope:

The hands and feet could also be fungi I guess

FEET! :shakefist: :pout:

If I ever manage to successfully paint one of these feet then I'm immediately flipping it to make the other one. :stare:

Great concept, Valence.  Loving the character's pose and general color palette of the image!
