Just seen a monster-big spider in the kitchen. 
It was one of those long-legged "big as your hand" ones but this one also had the fattest body I remember seeing on a spider. It's literally too big to kill!
I've just barricaded the door closed and I'll quietly hope it'll go back to wherever it came from.

Think I might just go for the nuclear bomb just to be "safe".
Before fleeing I had to get uncomfortably close to it in order to get something from a cupboard. It was right there on the wall at eye level just a few centimetres away and I was sure it was gonna jump at me.
