So... After taking apart my wacom pen and realising something had come off, attaching that again and then failing to put the darn thing back together, and then managing to totally break the entire thing in like more places than one, I figure I need a new pen. This one has lasted for about 6.5 years. Good or bad?

Should I buy the same again (Wacom Grip Pen I think, although buying them separately OR nowadays seem to come with fewer extra nibs) or a Wacom Pro pen which is slightly pricier (and has 9 extra nibs). Any recommendations from you lot?

And why does this have to happen on a weekend when pretty much only myself and, sometimes, Val is online?

I'm out of touch with Wacom stuff. Are the pens all compatible with one another? I would be inclined to buy the same thing I was replacing.

They are both compatible with wacom 4 and 5 (I can't even recall which one I have...)

Hmm the pro one comes with a pen case!
(Actually that might be good seeing as my cat likes to nibble the pen. But he mostly does that while I try to use it so maybe it won't help much...)

EDIT - and now I look again the pro pen isn't in stock so would take longer to get. I guess that settles it
