I hope you have enough pocketses for them all. :dry:

And I'm not sure my monster will be posed like that anyway in the end. I was just jiggling the bones about to try and get the IK working properly and to see if all the polygons were moving along with it. Initially one of the sticky-out bits in the head didn't want to attach to the armature and I had to fiddle about to get it right. Well, rightish. :S

I was only going to make a few, just because I feel like it's weird how all ten cultures plus the 5000 year old nords and dwemer all use the same one or two models for most of their jewellery. But as always I have a bit of a problem limiting myself to "a few"... I suspect there will be 18 rings in all. And then necklaces and circlets and possibly earrings.... and now I am exhausted just from mentioning all that... :facepalm:

It would be nice if you could combine it in the viewport instead of having to render and then use the compositor nodes but no matter. It's still interesting and saves you from using too many slooow volumetrics.

If it does make it into the scene it'll probably be to crash into one of the buildings so maybe the exact placement of the rotors isn't that important? :hmm:

It WILL be in the scene now that I've sorted out the rotors.

I rendered some animated rotors separately with motion blur and just used one frame as a textured solidified image plane on top of the helicopter. :)
And it's working!
A lot of the things are working well now but I just can't work out the right sky/lighting combination.
I did briefly consider using the built in sky texture/atmosphere and doing some proper 3D clouds in the scene but my computer started to get a little too hot for my liking. :lol:
So I'm going back to the original plan of having an emissive image plane in the background (like an HDRI but with a little bit more control) but it's tricky trying to find an image that has the right pattern of bright and dark to actually light the scene and provide the right contrast background for the monster. :hmm:

Plenty of time to think about it. :aha:
