It seems like there's a difference in the shaders between version 3.6 (which I've been using) and 4.0+. I do also have 4.3 but it crashes far to often for me so I guess I'll have to find a different way of getting the shader settings to work.

Knowing Blender, probably not.

Anyway I have a lot of new problems now that hinder my progress all of which seem to be more related to my lack of skill/understanding.
But I will grab that newer version to try out ... sometime.

I made a bit of progress with the grass last night. A bit.
I'm also continuing to try to make flowers.
Still can't find an easy way to make them all "grow" on top of displaced ground. Probably gonna have to manually sculpt a lower res mesh to match it and use that instead.
And I can't seem to make a vertex group work with the texture mask. I'm using vertex colours for that but I can't make that mask work with the geometry nodes for the grass placement.
*goes off to google as the deadline still counts down*

I've been a bit tempted to start making furniture and stuff for Cybertown again. Or, rather, for Cybertown Revival. Unfortunately the worlds are as simple and ugly as ever and moving around in 3D is a bit awkward... But I did just get myself a home... and what do you know - I never even knew it had that extra room!

Then I accidentally clicked a bookmark while trying to navigate and ended up on a different page.

Just spent 40 minutes posing gnome hands.

I then decided to try tweaking the vertex group of the grass to emphasize one particular flower.
Didn't work.
Better quit without saving to keep the old grass.

WAIT!
I did save after doing the hands stuff, didn't I?
*reloads to check*

Nooooo.

Hands were reposed and a save was made.
Twice just to be certain.
