Speaking of trains, I also saw Train to Busan over the weekend. As Zombie outbreak flicks go it was pretty good.[/quote]

My son told me about this last year, said I would love it. Honestly I found it a poor remake of World War Z, the zombies all moved the same way, piled on top of each other and climbed over each other etc. I hated the main characters, the girl and her dad were just annoying, the 'good' guy was the only appealing thing in the movie. I just didn't get it.

There hasn't been anything much on TV lately (well, actually that goes further back than lately, but anyhow) so I've been watching some of my DVD's.

Started with the Tom Cruise Mummy film. Didn't get much mummy/adventure/egypt vibe from it, though. Seemed more of a regular witchy horror/zombie mashup. Still, it was entertaining enough. Not that I got all of it. Like why a thousands of years old very powerful "witch" or whatever she was, only had one desire - to get married... :eyeroll: I mean, in the Brendan Fraser movie at least the old mummies loved each other! These two just had an agreement...

Next up was Skiptrace with Jacki Chan and er... someone else. Pretty much a copy of the rush hour movies. Except his "partner" wasn't a police but a small time crook. And a rather annoying character at that.

And tonight I watched Logan. Ouch. All the pain. And sad too
Weirdly enough I don't mind seeing Logan put his claws through peoples heads, or a young girl attack and kill people like nobody's business (I was rather impressed, even though it was all pretend :P), but I couldn't watch Logan giving Xavier a medical injection

Not too much on TV here either. (Although I did record Portrait Artist Of The Year but I'll save that for tomorrow when there's even less on.) I've sort of been watching The Passage but I really don't like it and wish something else would take me away from it.

I haven't seen that version of The Mummy but I remember thinking when it was released that it was an odd way to reboot it. Even from the trailer it seemed a different style of movie. :S
I also haven't seen that Train/Zombie thing but I did enjoy Logan when I watched that even though he's one of my least favourite superhero characters.

Sorry.
X-Men usually send me to sleep. Especially that one.
But not in that particular film. ;)

To be fair I think the X-Men movies are a bit of a mess.

I agree they’re a bit of a mess and the first ones where way too comicy for me but Logan, the movie and the character, in my opinion are fantastic. I just wish we’d had a Wolverine vs Sabretooth movie that was as violent and gritty as Logan.
@charlotte does that include Logan Noir? Or are we talking 4 doses?
