I don't think he'll find any rodents on a third floor balcony. He does bring in a fair few bugs though. And leaves. Leaves are like the spoils of war. :aha:

You should get him a toy "dead" bird that he can safely kill as many times as he likes.
Then again, cats never really play with the things you buy for them. As a child I distinctly remember my cat having an untouched scratching post next to a completely destroyed sofa. :lol:

well... yes. He's used his scratching post a wee bit. Most of his purchased toys are barely touched. His favourite toys are plastic bottle caps. And of course my (previous) telephone charger cable, for chewing. He has a couple of scratching boards that he uses a bit, but my armchair is considerably more shredded. Luckily it was old and worn to begin with... He also had a little crochet bunny I got from a friend but my niece fell in love with that when she visited...
