For the record I knew it was the Shining earlier (from the hints) but I don't know any quotes at all, so I just stayed quet... No clue about the last one though and although I've heard "the goonies" I've no idea what that is... Maybe it just had a different name here.

Ok let's try another quote from the same movie.
The last one was followed by a gunshot, this one is preceded by one:

"Boring conversation anyway"

Or how about a characters name:

I've never actually watched Pulp Fiction but that "boring convo" quote sounds like it could be Tarantino... Oh wait, maybe it's Jackie Brown. Uhm I probably should limit myself to one guess. Can't recall any agents from Jackie but since she was doing a heist type of thing (I think?) they could very well be there.... I'll guess Jackie Brown :P

Sorry Charlotte but a good guess based on the clues.

Ok one more hint for today.

The "boring conversation" quote also features in Star Wars that the movie in question cites in various other ways.
In fact it pays homage to a number of sci fi movies and features the voice of one Mr Speilberg.

I actually thought Star Wars when I first read the 'boring conversation part' remember Han Solo saying that in part one, when Luke was looking for Leia's cell. but I knew the other part about God wasn't in it, nor did I recognize the name you added afterwards either. But sure I've seen the movie.
