Not that clean, really. And I hope to be able to ditch them entirely eventually. (If I can get any more work done on it between Gandalf's naps.) But thanks anyway :p

Compared to my lines the first one was clean also.
But this one is even cleaner. :woohoo:

Keep in mind that I took a screenie of the sketch at 50% size....

Sorry Charlotte but I agree, you're just going to have to accept that it's lovely clean line work - I guess we all have our cross to bare (bear? baer?).

I wanted to get some stuff done for this one too and barring my hand getting any worse (and dropping off - though I'm not going to let that stop me either) I'm going to get this one completed.

I wanted to something like a festering barely controlled rage but think I've missed the mark so far here - more like a barely held contempt just now.

Still, this happened.

I think we just have to agree to disagree on the definition of clean lines...

Nice start on yours, Atto. Was sorry to hear about your hand/arm. I do hope it'll get better quickly, now the antibiotics are kicking in.
One crit so far, which might be pointless since it's early days, but the clothes are very similar in colour to her skin. Might want to separate them a bit?

Thanks Charlotte, my arm is much better now but my calcium has now dropped so I'm feeling a little funky - apparently it's just my body freaking out because it's so used to a raised calcium level.

I just spent the last few hours doodling into this one- but I'm still on the fence about whether I can, with all good conscience, enter such a placid portrait into a challenge entitled Rage.

I've decided the easiest thing to do is to doodle away then affix meaning to the result after, so I'm now trying to capture that kind of numb calm after the rage has passed.

Originally this was going to have some fantasy element to it but now I'm thinking it may have more impact if she looked human - I dunno - may restart - may ditch the whole thing and go back to gaming.

Oh, and I've separated the colours between her skin and jumper like you suggested Charlotte which gave me a more pleasing colour palette for her skin - Thank you!

Yup I think the difference in colour works well - and the splats of blood certainly suggests rage has been involved at some point :)

This one probably belongs in the General Scribbles thread as it's just a portrait based on a Reddit reference, but the expression seemed so appropriate that I thought I'd be cheeky and post it here. :P

Wow! Definitely perfect - he looks really angry :)
A bit less of the red white and blue in his hair and he'd be a properly enraged Thor (and I mean the real, red-headed Thor, not the MU blondie)

Yes, Banj. Real. :stare:
