Had a fourth attempt at making progress earlier today but it continues to go very bad.

I never even got started on the elephant.

I resorted to trying a quick fingerpainting of the troublesome face today and for the first time it looked a bit better.
So I may try and take that into ArtRage tomorrow for one last try before I completely give up on it.
