Not related to this or any picture I've painted or intend to paint, but this is the way my mind works...
"Carnivale" was a damn good tv show. Axed far too quickly.

It’s also a damn good Slaine comic originally appearing in 2000ad. I’ve got a hard back copy and find myself flicking through it everty time I lose faith in graphic art as a story telling device (read: cell shading).

No smudge tool was harmed in the making of this image.

I loved Carnivale too. That series had me hooked from the first show. Really upset when they decided it to deep-six it.

Just had a go at "something" but it may not continue further for hand reasons and elephant reasons and... reasons.

Notice how the blue-eyed zombie elephant turned into a red-eyed angry elephant after I remembered that elephants have ears. :confident:
And why must creepy, big-headed ringmasters strike such hard to draw poses? :eyeroll:

elephants do have ears, yes. But zombiephants might have dropped theirs... somewhere...

If only creepy ringmasters "dropped" their foreshortened arms/hands too. :)
