Charlotte wrote: Well, those pets above that I had made for a "breeding" were processed today. Exactly ONE day late to be used as I had intended. Not only that but I had uploaded them with a "custom maker" that allowed 75% edits, saying that even if they were below 50% edited (next level custom maker) I wanted the higher level one used rather than the pet being rejected. But of course it's rejected for being less edited.

(as usual it's mostly a coloration - I only did the inkwell on it's bum where it usually has crystals. That said, I'm not sure why so many virtual pets have things growing on their bums... It's just weird.)

I can still smell the Sharpie from last year.
Excellent colouring (and that bit of texture looks good too!)
Putting the transparent inkwell at an angle is a nice touch, you can really sense that fluid sloshing about inside!

Trying to do a a mummy related outfit. So here's an exclusive *insert approriate bling bling effects here* preview of the background. It'll only be a third this size in the end, so pretty much no detail will show (just "hint"). It's also a bit small compared to the HA (avatar) but I opted to keep it this size rather than add something to stand on or just crop the entire pic... At least the horizon line is roughly at eye level (unlike most Aywas backgrounds where they seem to be around ankle or knee height...)
EDIT: PS I used some of those brushes you mentioned, Val (faint crackle and particles), to make the scene look more worn!

The texturing works really well, especially on the floor. It feels very old and dusty.

EDIT: oops looks like I turned off the wear layer on the background (the wraps still need dirt and wear and shading added)
