EDIT: and I forgot to mention that due to the perspective getting screwed over every time I try to adjust a new floor, the hangings on the wall are now in the wrong place (should be symmetrical behind the chair). I'm not sure yet whether I'll move the two slim ones or paint them together into one big one. If the latter, it'll really need some kind of design on it but I'm not sure what. Originally I had the aries sign (and name) but I didn't like it...

But I find the pillars in the background very distracting, and I think it has to do with the perspective and the crop. The perspective on the back part of the floor and the pillars should be a flatter plane, which would match the chair perspective better. Right now it feels a bit like the floor is rising up in the background.
I'd also consider cropping in a bit more on the left, or doing something to break up those pillars -- my eye constantly wants to pass through them like a gate, but there's nothing there to pull me back into the picture, so my eyes wander off the top.
But overall it's looking great.

In my head, before I started painting, those pillars were merely hinted at in a rather dark background, so that's part of why I want to darken som areas. Not sure it'll help though since the pillars will still be lit up by the fire... Regarding the floor, this is why I hate perspective... I never get it to look right. I did align floor and chair when it comes to the lines running towards the left corner of the floor. And I felt the floor was tilting upwards as well, so I chose to flatten it a bit already, deviating from perspective... And like I said, the banners behind him ended up wrong because I couldn't get the floor texture to match the perspective lines perfectly in both directions... I hate perspective
I also feel like maybe there's a bit too little air above his head. But if I crop it to the left and add to the height I'll end up with a square image... I rather liked this format that I have.... oh well, will give it a think. (Was thinking wall calendar, it being a zodiac and all...)

Now I guess I need to go hang up the laundry to dry before I forget about it completely...
