(SOLVED - POSSIBLY) Not Staying Logged In

I'm trying the current windows version of Safari to see what happens, so far I'm not having any trouble. When you get a chance can you try logging in to the site at home from:

You may get an annoying warning page about an incorrect security certificate but it is safe to ok that and continue. It may be that the version of Safari you are using doesn't like the redirect that was added.

I tried logging in from that URL, but it didn't make any difference (I didn't get the security certificate warning either)

This is what happens. I log in and it show that I have:




Then as soon as I click on another tab, I'm logged out:




Although, at the bottom of the page it says I am logged in:




As does my profile (even though it show me as being logged out at the top):



But I can't post anything (or even quick reply)

I'll have to do some investigating to try and find out what is causing it. The only time I've experienced something similar was when I tried to see if I could log in on my PS3, and that also showed me logged in on the "who's online", but logged out in the browser itself.

At the moment I'm afraid the only suggestion I can make is to try using a different browser

I've had the same happen to me, that em.. describes above. But once on the forums page, I signed in again, and all seemed ok after that. But it's only happened a couple times, and not for some time now.

Was that also in Safari Dave?

Believe it was indeed Safari. At least the last time or two it happened. But think the first time was with Firefox, but that was also within the first week of the sites opening, so I attributed it to that at the time.

I've actually been using Safari more lately. I do like some of the features it has that works well with this site. Like the sign in, it keeps my credentials pre-loaded in yellow tint, for a single click login access which is nice. & the cooliris works, where it doesn't with Firefox. Even after installing the plugin for Firefox.

It happened in IE for me (as I think I've already mentioned once or twice )
