(SOLVED - POSSIBLY) Not Staying Logged In

If I'm inactive for an hour or so, I seem to get logged out and need to log back in. Not really a big deal since my UN/Password is already filled in, but it's a bit annoying, because if you're unaware of it, you miss new posts and so on.

That's strange. Since they were just speaking about the being logged out issue when you close the browser today. I wonder if it's when you system goes into sleep mode, that maybe it's dropping the internet connection? Even a quick kick-out could activate the log out feature that's associate with this site?

Only time I've actually been booted off, is when Banj was at the breaker box, flipping the switches.

Hey there Smolin. Yes, this is a known issue that's already on the list and being invstigated with a big magnifying glass and all kind of other stuff. It's mentioned toward the end of the thread here: cgartnexus.com/index.php/forums/suggesti...8-site-access-errors but I'll keep this separate as the main issue in there was fixed.

In fact while I'm here, if people could let me know if this has been a problem since the site opened or if this is something that has just started. the last couple of days. Ta.

Not really tried to be logged in for that long. If I come across it I'll tell you.

the inactive log out has just happened to me, not sure that i've been that inactive for long so i'm not sure when that started.
the not staying logged in has been happening a coupla days

Thinking about it, this is probably a slightly different issue to the remember (or not in this case) problem, but as they are both log in related they can still go here. Not that I'm starting to lose the plot and unravel at all.. no... ha... hahahaha... hehehe... HA

(I may have improved the time out slightly, but you will eventually time out after a period of inactivity).

I haven't timed out yet and my computer has gone to sleep several times while I've been logged in.

Same here Charlotte, and the past couple days, I've been just staying logged in even when I leave the office. I only lock the computer and hardly ever shut down. (Both at work and home) But when I get back, I'm still logged in with no issues.

Which browsers are you using?
