Doing videos certainly isn't fun, no matter what software you use. All that fuss about containers, codecs, compression, bitrate etc.
Last night I was trying out HitFilm and used it to trim the previous video and I ended up with a file that was over ten times the size of the original despite being shorter! AND it was a much lower quality, riddled with blocky glitches even though I tried to match the properties. My patience is evaporating fast.

I reverted to my first method for this one.



I think I might give it a break now and just concentrate on painting.

Cool! I'd be utterly lost if I worked like you do, a bit of paint here and some there at 30 seconds it looks like you're painting Crusty the Clown, but the end result looks way better

I never feel confident that it's gonna end up looking like anything. There's constantly a voice in my head saying, "Well this is awful. Just delete it! DELETE IT NOW!!!!"
In fact I did delete a bad cat before this. But I am trying to ignore that voice.

You have voices in your head telling you to "delete" bad animals. Sounds like the beginnings of a serial killer to me

The cat was so horribly deformed that it wouldn't have lived long anyway.
