The recurring "fewer" gag was one of the highlights of the show. 
As for the pup, I'm not sure the soft focus on the ears works.
But this one was fun to do, which makes a nice change from my recent struggles/failures.

I totally missed that "gag" 
The soft ears do work. I kind of wish I could tell what the foreground item is though, like is it a pillow, a part of a sofa, or ?

You're missing the good stuff.
In the reference photo it's someone's shoulder but I didn't want to paint a partial back-of-head and that yellow might have looked a bit harsh so I tried to make it a generic cushion thing.
