Crankshaft's Sketchbook

Some design sketches. The goal here is problem solving and brain storming/exploring new shapes.

I realized there were shapes that could not physically exist with my trailer. Took forever to realize what was wrong. Double checking to make sure it could open without hitting anything was a nightmare.

Updates. Doesn't look like much but I've been mainly preparing things in the bg ie cleaning up my topology and learning how to make better geometry.

Anatomy.

Updates. Same as before, mainly did stuff in the background ie clean up mesh. Nothing pretty to show, just in between stuff. Having loads of fun modelling, I feel like I'm building a product instead of just making a picture. Going to flesh out the entire vehicle, even under the body. So much for a small project

That's taking shape nicely with all the details.

These development wips always look like you're taking a real vehicle apart to see how it works before putting it back together in a better way.
