The new messaging system works fine!

And if there's any pie going around then I'm nowhere near it yet.
I'm still photographing the body.
I'm not stuck or anything, I just haven't had time to play it yet.
Hopefully I'll get some clicking and pointing done later tonight before bed. And now I'm looking forward to this pie.

dang.
well I'm not gonna try anymore today, anyway. (Not that I played much today - I succumbed and tried a walkthrough which mentions all kinds of things I haven't seen or needed or which just plain doesn't make sense... It did help me finish one task that I was stuck on... but I'm still stuck on (in?) the pie...)
Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Printer ink is a scam!
Yes, that's where I am at the moment and that's enough for today.
How many specks of dust have you picked up, Charlotte?
Edit: And I have seen a couple of pies but I'm guessing they're not related to your pie?

I bought it a year or so ago, and played it for a while, then stopped. It reminded me more of Day of the Tentacle than Monkey Island & Indiana Jones, which were my fav games. I could never play much of DOTT because it bored me, much like Thimbleweed unfortunately.

The character switching and meandering story does remind me of Day Of The Tentacle but so far Thimbleweed's puzzles are a bit more coherent. I still haven't finished DOTT, not even with my bookmarked walkthrough.
Part of me does prefer the smaller-head style of Guybrush/Indy but the mix of old pixels and modern-style lighting is beautiful and all the gags are raising more than a smile (I particularly liked Dolores and the Out-Of-Order staircase.
)
But it does expose the flaws of the genre. I did feel ever so slightly deflated when I went for that very long walk through the cemetery only to find... nothing just yet. And then had to walk all the way back.
Also it's very weird when you finally quit-a-reno and go back to the hi-res screen of your PC. It takes a few moments for my eyes to adjust.

I had another friend download it, since she likes puzzle games, but she just thought it was stupid
(She didn't enjoy the humour at all--- and I must have missed the "gag" regarding that staircase?)
