Same here... I would find the exploration much more enjoyable, not to mention, any fighting that had to be present would be better if it was against, say, other tribes versus those crazy ass Humans! But I think you know what I mean, we've already seen the Movie, so why not make it about the planet and creatures that inhabit it? ... I just think that would be quite fun in itself.

If they're gonna follow a movie then I imagine the plot will relate to the sequels in some way.
Does look nice though. When I first watched that film I would never have thought video games would catch up so much in visuals, even if that was mostly cut scenes.

They say never judge a book by its cover but this one that I got from the university in A Plague Tale looks lovely.



I can't stop taking screenshots of the detailed texture. It's quite distracting when I'm supposed to be sneaking past guards or escaping from rats but instead find myself saying, "Oooh, look how that shaft of light catches to top edge." And then I'm dead again.

I've also had a couple of encounters with the old Inquisition chappie now and he's a creepy looking fellow.

As a brave and fearless Witcher, a hero for all the ages and great warrior of legend (and yes, I am clearly all of those things. ) you do expect to put yourself in danger to risk your life against whatever dreadful creatures and monsters get in your way.
And today I was unfortunately killed by.... cheese fumes.
Cheese.

I also drowned in the dark after reloading and avoiding the cheesy gas. This trip to the farm isn't going as planned.

Perhaps I should just stick to hunting down Gwent noobs.

Still struggled through the watery gloom. Where the hell do you get a torch from round here?
Yes, I know I have that magic lamp from Keira, and it did help once I'd remembered it, but a bit of normal fire in my hand would be nice without having to Igni every flammable thing I see in the distance.
(Edit: And yes I know there's fire in that screenshot but it was darker later, OK? )

Anyway, doesn't matter now. I'm back in the open, fresh, uncheesy air totally over-encumbered with my cheese-based loot.
