It was only after my millionth consecutive Witcher death that I realised that the gang of six nasty monsters had a level that was more than double my own. So I'm going to blame it all on that ... as well as the fact that I'm rubbish.

And I also encountered some deserters whose level was so far above me that the game paused itself and actually advised me to run away. And even then they chased me down and killed me.
