I have now installed a home mod. (Yes, another one. The forgotten windmill is just too far away AND you need to pick a master lock to own it!) So I've gone for the Riverside Lodge which is between Riverwood and Whiterun...



...lots more space than that cramped windmill! And it has a little garden... and a hot tub... and a sauna! Lovely view down to Whiterun over that waterfall...



...and sneaking round the back you'll even find that special little place...



...and even some sheets for wiping!
There's also a dining/cooking area, three beds, alchemy lab and also a stable area outside, but I haven't risked my horse there yet. It'd probably get stuck on the little bridge.

I bought Zelda Link's Awakening on the switch - absolutely love it. I've also recently bought The Dark Pictures - Man of Medan on PS4 - utterly terrifying!

I'm downloading "Freespace 2" which is free on GOG today, but I'm not sure how I'll like it. It seems much more battle oriented than building and exploring oriented... But it's free...

That new home looks like a charming choice Val!

I just watched the trailer. It does seem rather like a movie (but then most trailers do...). It says don't play alone, though. You don't play alone, do you? Maybe that's like feeding the gremlins after midnight....

I grabbed that freebie cos I need more space too!
But I had to create a new Gog account because I couldn't remember the last one I had. (I only ever used it to download Beneath A Steel Sky many, many, many years ago.)

And back to games that I DO have installed.... My horse made it across the bridge and fits in the stable!

I tried to find something that looked like a chef's hat but there was no such garment so a Mage's Hood will have to do.

AND... (I forgot about this) ...speaking of scary, downstairs in my new Skyrim home there's a storage area with loads of mannequins for showing off your clothes/armour and when I went in one of them moved!
It was like an episode of Doctor Who!

After a quick google I discovered that it's a famous bug that's known to everyone except me.
There is a mod to fix it but I haven't decided whether to use it yet, it's kind of fun to have creepy moving mannequins down there.
