One thing that is far greater than a mountain is my continued ineptitude after levelling up.
I retreated from that fort with the aggressive goblins (the wine I was looking for wasn't in there anyway) and continued my slow walk to Cheydinhal only to be killed by randomly spawning things along the way like boars and wolves.
Ended up taking a longer route over a high bridge just to avoid one particularly nasty boar. And I stayed well away from that Oblivion Gate that's just appeared next to the road. Not going in one of those at the moment.
So I'm still not at Cheydinhal yet but I've made it to Pell's Gate so I'll save and quit there for a rest.
And I mean a rest in the real world, not pressing the key to pass the time.

I remember just trying to run past everything in a panicky way.
I also remember that you really need backup armour and weapons cos everything just deteriorates and breaks if you try to fight your way through.

More TV until it's slightly cooler, or early bedtime? More TV I think. Maybe.
