The film version managed to do the story very well in a single movie 

So you said. I can't remember seeing it. I'm pretty sure I remember reading the original story, though, but as far as I recall that's nothing like the TV series. Except the misty bit.

There is Mist. Watch the film  (preferably the black and white alternative version).

I'm not sure I have access to it anywhere.

I have it on DVD, get a really powerful telescope and I'll put it on 

I think it'd be cheaper to get a plane ticket Then again it'd probably be even cheaper to get the DVD for myself... Meanwhile, I think I will try Dept. Q on Netflix.

So far mostly so good. Unfortunately the main character is an actor I don't care much for. But maybe he can redeem himself... (He's in A Discovery of Witches where he plays one of those insufferable "very powerful immortals who, nevertheless, would never hurt the woman he loves, unless of course he loses control because he loves her so much but he would never do that because he loves her" ) He also reminds me of a guy I knew who was a bit creepy... Anyway, it's not his fault.

I seem to see hamsters everywhere these days. Is that you moonlighting, Banj?

(I saw a reel or whatsit called Hamster Core, on insta earlier today... A bunch of short clips of hamsters being.... hamsters)

I hardly see them anywhere, they must all be other there with you.
