The new Walking With Dinosaurs starts tonight on normal telly so I may try and make the effort to watch it.
Time and exhaustion permitting.

I'm watching Baghead, with Cirilla. Or rather, whoever plays Cirilla

I find it rather enjoyable in a horror story kind of way. I tend to be annoyed or disappointed by horror movies but so far this is suitably creepy without getting too ridiculous.

And I didn't even get annoyed at the end!
Weirdly enough. But no spoilers

I'm not sure why, because I haven't got a clear idea of who Catherine Cookson is, but I am trying to watch Tilly Trotter. First episode, she almost gets abducted and raped. A day or too later she's out and about all alone as if she's forgotten all about it. She gets kidnapped again and assaulted (same guy and his cronies). Now she's kept herself holed up at home for a few months but her gran thinks she can't stay inside forever so she sends her out - alone - and tells her "they're no better than you so don't be afraid to look 'em in the eye". Yeah, sure. That helps when you get assaulted and raped by multiple men, I am sure.

Like I said, I don't know much about Cookson but she seems rather stupid. Although I suspect it's all just to put her heroine in these situations, even if it's illogical.

(It's also a fairly old thing so even the good guys just laugh off things like groping and such. "Aw, it's just the beer gone to his head". I'm pretty sure they'd change things around a bit of they filmed it today. )

Second episode seen and it still seems fairly stupid.

Catherine Cookson is a writer of many books that I have never had any interest in reading that were adapted into many series that I have had no interest in watching. Then again I don't think I am the target audience
