I finished the Night Agent earlier today.
Been trying to keep my mind off of Gandalf... But now it's evening, I'm not sure how I'll be able to sleep without him nearby.

Maybe Merlin will realise something's wrong and curl up with you.

Or maybe he'll just knock something off a table to cheer you up in the way that cats do.

He has been knocking over a roll of paper towels several times, since yesterday. I guess I should have realised it was his way of cheering me up...

I've been trying to watch a documentary on SVTplay, concerning the evolution of life after the meteor that made dinosaurs extinct but it's a pain with all the buffering that goes on. And with the level of dumbing down, going on, too.

Oh really? Gee whiz, scientists can be such weirdly creative oddballs.

They've also been fairly close to saying "scientists call layers layers"

That said, they do explain some things so that it IS easy to understand, I think. Like how sediments are deposited and form layers (yes, that was the time) of sedimentary rock. Though I think they left out how it actually becomes rock...It's a bit hard to follow when every sentence gets cut into three separate parts by the buffering breaks.

I mostly agree with that. The ending sequence is unnecessarily confusing in that usual contrived Nolan way and I'm never a fan of Kenneth Branagh "doing an accent" from what could be any country east of Germany.
But the Turnstile is such a great idea and that moment when you see it in action for the first time is amazing. It's an idea that deserves a better plot and for that reason I kinda hope that they do a sequel. But I doubt it.

Make they'll make a rehash... I mean, repop uhm, whatsitcalled again? Like they planned with Buffy and did with several others... you know, once they think people have forgotten the original or think it's too old. Like in a couple of years or so.

It's basically a poor Bond film with a more science fictiony gimmick than normal. I didn't dislike it, but I would say it's by far Nolan's weakest film so far (although I still haven't seen Interstellar or Oppenheimer, so I can't comment on them).
